Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 11th, 2025

Welcome to Handibath Remodeling (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all remodeling and construction services we provide, including consultations, estimates, planning, and completed work. By engaging our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Terms.

Scope of Work

All services provided will be based on a written contract or estimate that outlines the agreed scope of work. Any changes to the original scope, including additional work or material upgrades, must be documented and approved in writing through a change order.

Estimates & Pricing

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary based on changes in materials, labor availability, or unforeseen conditions. You will be notified of any price adjustments before work continues.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit is required to secure your project on our schedule. The typical payment structure includes:

  • An initial deposit (usually 25–50%)

  • Progress payments at key project milestones

  • A final payment due upon substantial completion

All payment terms will be outlined in your individual project agreement.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide:

  • Clear access to the work area

  • Timely decisions and approvals

  • Any required permits, if agreed upon
Delays caused by the client may affect the project timeline and cost.

Project Timeline

We make every effort to complete work within the estimated timeframe. However, timelines are subject to change due to weather, material delays, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any significant changes as early as possible.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the amount of work or materials already ordered. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, you may be responsible for labor and materials incurred up to that point.

Permits & Code Compliance

We comply with all applicable local and state building codes. Responsibility for obtaining permits will be defined in your agreement. If additional inspections or code-related upgrades are required during the project, those may result in extra costs.

Liability & Insurance

We carry appropriate contractor liability insurance and worker’s compensation. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Unforeseen structural issues

  • Delays due to third parties or suppliers
Clients are encouraged to carry homeowner’s insurance during remodeling projects.

Photos & Marketing

Unless otherwise requested in writing, we reserve the right to take before-and-after photos of your project for use in our portfolio, website, or marketing materials. We will never share your personal information or address.

Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve any disputes quickly and fairly. If an issue arises, you agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication. If further action is needed, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in the State of New York.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any legal action must be filed in the appropriate jurisdiction in or near [City/County], NY.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website or by request.
