It’s been a busy and meaningful month here at Handibath Remodeling, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Between community events, remodeling projects, and new ways to connect with our neighbors online, our team has been hard at work, both on and off the job site.

Supporting Our Community: A Gift to All Boobs Matter

At Handibath, we believe that good business starts with good community. That’s why we were so proud to donate a gift basket to the recent All Boobs Matter Fundraiser @ Jackson Hall! It was packed with all kinds of fun goodies. Supporting local events like this reminds us why we love what we do — because every remodel, every conversation, and every connection makes Long Island feel a little more like home.

October holds special meaning for us. This year, we wanted to go beyond awareness and take action — so we launched a Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign to support local initiatives and honor the fighters, survivors, and loved ones affected by breast cancer.

For the entire month, we’re offering $250 off every remodel and donating a portion of proceeds to local breast cancer awareness efforts. Because we don’t just want to build better bathrooms — we want to help create spaces of comfort, healing, and hope.

If you’ve been thinking about a remodel, this is a great time to make your home safer, more accessible, and more beautiful — while also supporting an important cause right here in our community.

It’s safe to say our tools have barely touched the ground lately! From full tub-to-shower conversions to custom accessibility installations, our crew has been transforming homes all across Long Island.

Every project is a reminder of why our work matters, helping people live more comfortably, independently, and safely in their own homes. Whether it’s updating an outdated bathroom or creating an entirely new space, we take pride in every tile, fixture, and finish.

Our owner, Joe Nickel, often says, “This isn’t just construction, it’s about improving quality of life.” That mission is what drives our whole team, from the field crew to our office admin Sophia (who keeps everything running smoothly), to our growing marketing team who helps share our story with the world.

If you follow us on social media, you’ve probably noticed, we’ve been very active lately! From behind-the-scenes glimpses of our crew to community updates and fun portfolio work, we’re loving the chance to connect with more of you online.

Our goal is simple: to show the people behind the work, share our craft, and highlight the impact accessible remodeling can make in real people’s lives.

If you haven’t already, be sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — join the conversation, share your thoughts, or just check out what we’ve been up to. We’re always excited to hear from our neighbors and clients!

Thank You, Long Island

As we head deeper into fall, we’re feeling grateful, for our hardworking team, our loyal customers, and the incredible Long Island community that continues to support small, local businesses like ours.

Whether you’ve trusted us with your home, stopped by our page, or shared a kind word, you’ve been part of our journey, and we can’t thank you enough.

Here’s to more remodels, more giving back, and more moments that remind us why we love what we do.
